1. What's your character's name? Why did you choose that name?

Rictus Ashley Case.
Rictus Ashley is a play on Rick Astley. His parents were douchebags.

2. Lahvely. What is their role in the story? Hero? Antagonist? Comic relief?

He's an antagonist if you want to make him broad. He mugs, kills, and rapes people. Yeah.

3. Give three or more facts about their physical appearance, eg eye color, hair color, height, whether they're attractive or not if you're superficial.

He has greasy black hair. He has a very, very frightening smile. He loots malls for any thing that's expensive, so his clothes are pretty fancy. His face is long, his cheek bones are rather high, and his brown eyes have a sunken in feel to them.

4. Are they afraid of anything? Why?

The Dark. If confronted with a pitch black area, Rictus will probably not go inside of it unless he has a flashlight and or a companion.

Also, loud noises spook him a little more than they should.

Oh, and getting shot. Oh, and contracting a terrible, terrible STD.

5. What's their goal, either in life or in the story? Is it to win the heart of the fair damsel, or to vanquish the villain?

He's just looking out for himself and to get what he wants, basically.

6. Give me four facts about their personality that only the author would know. Favorite food? Place of birth? Favorite childhood toy? Anything goes.

He loves cats. A lot. He was born in Gary, Indiana. His father was a pastor. He hates smoking, but he'll take a cigarette if someone offers him one.

7. How do they speak? Dialect? Accent? Use of ridiculously long words?

He's from Urban Indiana, so he doesn't have too much of an accent. He is always doing something with his hand when he talks. Slinging it over your shoulder, waving it around to illustrate a point, etc.

8. What's their family like? How does their family influence them?

Rictus' father was a pastor in Gary, Indiana. Gary, Indiana, is the armpit town of the Midwest. No one wants to live in Gary, Indiana. His father raised him on the morals of to respect your neighbor, respect your elders, and always give a smile to everyone you meet. Of course, Rictus never really liked his family, at 15 he resented his family's views on faith always being thrust on him. He didn't believe in a God and never would.

He fled his home and family at 18, grabbing whatever cash he could find, getting on the next bus out of the town. He took the bus to Tennessee, becoming a bus boy and living off of people he had met. When he was 22, he got a job as a Bartender, working shifts as a janitor during the day, living out of a car he had bought.

9. How do they dress? Why, eg to stand out from the crowd, because that's what everyone wears?

He'll wear any thing he can get his hands on, but he has always loved expensive clothes. Because of this, he often tries to wear as many fancy things as possible. His favorite is a poker vest with a long black top underneath. And when in doubt, pick the best pair of velvety black pants you can wear.

Hey, it may not be effective, but he's going to look great. What's the point of living if you can't live in style? However, he does wear running shoes. It sort of clashes with everything else, but you have to make exceptions.

10. What makes them laugh?

11. What makes them cry?

If he was trapped in a dark, dark room with fire crackers going off every minute, a big fat man breathing in his ear, and getting shot in the knee every second, only then would he start to cry.

12. If you were to meet them, how would you react? Would you get along? Why?

Run. RUUUUNN FAAARRR AWAY. I don't wanna get raped or mugged or... something like that...

13. How do others react to them? How are they linked to other characters in your story?

People like him until they get into a room with him. Alone. Or if he bleeds on them or something.

14. What are their strengths?

He's Flexible and can squeeze into some pretty tight air vents and the like. He's good with hand tricks, and could probably steal your wallet before you realized it was gone. Ambidextrous, he can use both of his hands in equal strength.

15. Weaknesses?

Has a terrible, terrible shot with anything other than a small handgun. Do not give a shotgun, he will shoot you the head. He can't resist a pretty face, if you catch my drift. Easily bribed into betraying anyone, his loyalty is with whoever can offer him the most. His sense of morals, below par.

16. What influences/affects them the most? Is it a past experience, a friend, a foe?

His own desires, really. He'll take what he wants.

17. Imagine that this character were to die. Who would miss them the most? Would anyone be pleased? [How cruel.]

No one would really care.

That's all he needs.

19. What do they like most about themself? Do others agree?

Rictus likes his looks. People think he looks like a greasy, greasy man, but he attracts the wrong type of people and he doesn't mind.

20. Dislike most about herself? Do others agree?

He hates the fact that he can't go into a pitch black room at all. It... complicates things. People are probably happy that this can't occur.
